WINTER TRANSFORMATION
Weather, why worry about something you have no power over changing. Instead let’s just accept it is going to be cooler for a few months and set your sights on using this time to prepare your best ever summer body. Winter is the best time to hit the gym and transform your body ready for summer. After all the days are shorter and colder so being in the club just makes sense!
Here are some tips to help your winter transformation
Ø Put a photo on the fridge of what you want to look like this summer in your togs,
YOU CAN ACHIEVE ANYTHING IF YOU REALLY WANT IT!
Ø Download some great music onto your IPOD to listen to whilst training in the gym
UPBEAT MUSIC CAN REALLY LIFT THE MOOD AND THE TEMPO OF YOUR TRAINING
Ø Prepare hearty meals – soups, stews, curries and freeze in individual portions
AVOID EATING RICE, BREAD, POTATO & PASTA OF A NIGHT IF TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT
Ø Fill up on hot oats or weet-bix for breakfast with a protein shake to kick start the metabolism and fight off the muffin & coffee/ meat pie & flavoured milk craving
THIS WILL KEEP YOU FULL FOR APPROX 3 HRS – BE STRONG JUST GRAB THE COFFEE
Ø Start a new program at the gym
START A WINTER SPECIFIC PROGRAM – INCLUDE RESISTANCE & CARDIO TO MAINTAIN SHAPE & HEALTHY BODY FAT LEVELS.
Ø Set 2 monthly goals and reward yourself when you reach them
STAY FOCUSSED, PUT MOTIVATIONAL SAYING AROUND YOUR HOUSE
Ø Find a training partner or book in for some personal training
ENCOURAGE EACH OTHER, OR LET YOUR TRAINER KEEP YOU MOTIVATED
