NABBA/WFF is proud to announce LADY JANE has joined forces with us and will now be sponsoring the 2012 Southern Hemisphere Sports Model division. Yes this amazing company which was designed created and founded by a wonderful lady named JANE. Here are a few words from her
For a long time, I was searching for somewhere and someone to turn to that could help me get into shape and that would understand the beauty of the female physique. I wanted something that was made for a woman. The problem was that although I could find diets here and exercises there, I had to amend these plans to make them work for my body.

Because a woman’s body is different than a man’s, we need fitness and nutrition that is customised to our needs.

As a busy wife and mother, I know all too well how difficult it is to keep up on diet and exercise. After spending time in online forums and speaking with other women, I learned that I was not the only women looking for this kind of support. That is when I decided to start a wave of change. It became my mission is to inspire women to take care of themselves, helping them to look and feel good. And so, Lady Jane Healthy Living was born.

Lady Jane is for all women, regardless of your age, marital status, or whether or not you have children. My message isn’t just for women with a similar life as my own; it is for all women striving toward a better, healthier lifestyle. My knowledge and the knowledge of my team, comes through a ton of trial and error. We are not going to preach a fad diet, tell you to exercise a certain way, or make promises that if you follow a set plan, you will look like a goddess in 30 days.

The team at Lady Jane are here to give you the tools. We provide access to information regarding diet, nutrition, and exercise.

I am on a personal mission to reach those who are frustrated, who know there is more, who are uncomfortable in their bodies, who are too intimidated to ask for help, who don’t like the idea of walking into a men's supplement and those who aspire to get their bodies back.

2011 NABBA / WFF QLD CHAMPIONSHIPS REPORT

The 2011 NABBA/WFF QUEENSLAND Bodybuilding, Figure & Sports Model Championships were held on Saturday 1st October!

The show kicked off at 12.30. A huge crowd of eager spectators talked amongst themselves until the 1ST Routine of the day took the stage a NABBA JUNIOR began the show with a crisp clean routine. From that moment on the auditorium was filled with cheering and amazement as we all watched the men & women of NABBA compete. Months of dieting and years of hard training was displayed through incredible physiques & figures.

Dominic Selwood was the first to receive his 1st place trophy always an amazing event for a Junior as it is the start of a big body building future. He took out the NABBA JUNIOR division. Individual routines were first up followed by quarter turns then compulsories, onto comparisons then the heart pumping high energy pose down to finish off each division. With awesome quality on stage the judges once again had their work cut out for them.

The day ran on time and smooth with all competitors given ample preparation time backstage to bring their best performance to the stage. A major shout out to the back stage crew (Kurt, Brad, Kev and Angus in the sound box) You guys are amazing!

With the intermission looming and 11 divisions down it was time for the WFF guys and girls and the beautiful Sportsmodels to start getting ready. The overall NABBA MEN's title went to Logan Robson; a polished pleasing symmetrical physique amazed the judges and the crowd. Congratulations Logan awesome physique. The OVERALL FIGURE title was awarded to Jodie Howard a pleasing balanced beautiful figure coupled with great posing landed her the title, well done Jodie. A 20 minute intermission gave spectators time to wonder the sponsor stands, stretch their legs and grab some food and something to drink. Now it was time to get the judging of the WFF competitors and the Sportsmodels underway. Let’s give a shout out to our door men here George, Dan & Johnny for doing such a professional job, thanks guys. Not to forget Scotty you were a massive help buddy thank you all.

Graham our wonderful MC kicked the second half of the show off with Round 1 of the Sportsmodels, the girls looked wonderful, and lady after lady wooed the crowd as they displayed lean healthy beautiful figures. Then it was straight into the WFF Rounds ladies up first then the men. A new comer to the sport Aneta Siedlecka embraced the stage as home and performed a Micheal Jackson inspired routine, her amazing figure admired by all. She then had to work hard to win her division WFF FIGURE CLASS 1 after several comparison rounds. Not long after Aneta and all the WFF figure 1st place getters were back on stage to vie for the title of WFF OVERALL Figure champion. The girls worked hard to display their figures posing and working the crowd. But victory was ANETA'S! A first time competitor who bought a winning package to the stage, awesome job!

Now it was time to award the SPORTSMODELS and see who would be taking out 1st place. By this stage in the competition the ladies had performed 3 rounds, a bikini round, free (sports) wear and their dress round. The crowd and the girls waiting with anticipation as the judge’s scores were calculated by head judge Mark Ryan. Then it was announced 1st place went to Vlatka Dragic. Well done Vlatka you looked beautiful in every round and obviously the judges were impressed.

As for the guys well all the classes worked hard for their places amazing the crowd with their entertaining routines and posing. But as we all know only one man can take out the title in the end and that was a very pleased Sam Mitchell crowned WFF MENS OVERALL Champion.

With the completion of the overall the show was done. By this time plenty of chocolate brownies and bars were being consumed by competitors and plenty of fluid!

On a finishing note Mark & I would like to say a massive thank you to the Southport RSL for their hospitality over the last 8 years. We are now changing venues to hold future NABBA/WFF events. Twin Towns Services Club will be our new venue equipped with a great stage and lighting, competitor accommodation and restaurants on site + so much more we look forward to kicking it off with the SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE CHAMPIONSHIPS which will be held Sunday 27th May 2012.
