Considering Competing

ARE YOU THINKING OF COMPETITING WITH NABBA/WFF?

HERE ARE JUST A FEW REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD GIVE OUR FEDERATION A GO!

1. The federation is run by active or previous competitors - what this means to you is; we know how competitors want and need to be treated. We understand how each of you feel when standing backstage waiting for you name to be called, we have dieted before so we know the work you have put into your preperation to be standing back stage, and we respect and admire every athelte how has made it to show day, whether it be your first time or a seasoned competitor.

2. All athletes are given a complete show schedule covering all vital information at registration the day before the show. This ensures all athletes know exactly what will be happening on the day

3. Our show proceedings are moulded to suit a depleted hungry athlete. The show is run as one show NOT pre-juding and finals, we award each category with their trophies as they appear on stage, allowing you to get on stage in your best condition then eat and relax.

4. Our backstage crews are well organised ensuring you are given ample time to prepare before you step on stage, and your music is cued and ready to go

5. You finish the show with an arm full of merchandise & memorabilia including medals, trophies, towels, caps, t-shirts, professional photos etc and a DVD of the show which is all included in your registration fee.

So how do you join us?

It is so simple. A $50 registration fee will see you signed up for 12 months with NABBA/WFF Australian federation.

Registration runs from 1st January to 31st December each year. This means you can do as many shows each year as you like. Registration for NABBA/WFF can be done when you go to your offical registration when competing in your first NABBA/WFF show for the year.

For those who are unfamiliar with NABBA/WFF, both are international body building, figure and fitness federations. They are seperate organisations, but are affiliated, which provides additional benefits for members and competitors.

Each federation seeks a different 'look'

NABBA tends to cater to the more muscular physique, while WFF favours a more athletic look within its divisions, and also offers a Sports Model division. NABBA's divisions are determined by height only, where as WFF divisions are determined by both height and weight. The restrictions are striclty adherd to which ensures all competitors compete against athletes with the same physique type.

Both federations attract a high level of male and female competitors at state, national and international level.
We are proud to say our reputation with athletes has allowed us to grow substantially over the years as a federatation boasting huge growth in both NABBA and WFF competitor numbers. Our Australian & Southern Hemisphere shows now attracting 100+ competitors per show. The increasing number of competitors is strenghtened by the quailty of athletes ensuring great competition and spectator value. NABBA Queensland is proud to lay claim to many international champions. As proud as we are of their achivements we pride ourselves by treating all our competitors with the same level of respect.

NABBA QLD now has a new home, Industry Health Club.

All registrations for future shows will now be held at the gym.

Competitors, friends and family are all welcome to use the facilites at a discounted rate when on the Gold Coast for shows.
