At 82 & 77 these two SISTERS are proving it is never too late to make exercise a part of your life We have all heard how great it is to keep active and include resistance training in our exercise regime as we age, but how many of us are actually doing it?
Well these two wonderful ladies are giving it go and loving it!

Member Profile
Since joining the Industry Health Club Norma & Betty are feeling happy and healthy. Both ladies have various others hobbies they enjoy but are very happy now to include exercise as one of them. The ladies also enjoy other activities such as bowls, and attending lots of social functions. But they now enjoy these activities even more; now exercising regularly they find these activities less tiring.
They train together, and it is obvious to all they enjoy spending time together.
Norma & Betty's workouts consist of a selection of resistance exercises using pin-loaded machines (which are very user friendly) as well as cardiovascular exercise. By performing resistance & cardiovascular exercises Betty & Norma are:
Helping to improve the strength of their bones
Keeping their muscles active (ensuring mobility and agility)
Strengthening their joints (tendons & ligaments) which helps prevent hip/knee/ankle/shoulder injuries
Stablising their blood pressure
And most importantly conditioning their hearts
For their cardio (heart) fitness they walk on the treadmills. Together they inspire and motivate each other, they are a pleasure to have in the gym and we look forward to their visits.
