Weight training is not about building huge muscles - unless of course that is your goal and you are prepared to devote years to high intensity training with heavy weights and are genetically pre-disposed to reach this level.

Rather, it is about shaping a lean, firm and feminine body.

Resistance training allows you to sculpt a fantastic figure at any age.

But regular training is just part of the puzzle. To achieve the body of your dreams and improve general health and fitness we also recommend that you:

Nutritional Program for women.
Follow a balanced, calorie-controlled nutrition program containing adequate protein, carbohydrates and healthy fats.
Cardiovascular Training for women.
Regularly participate in cardiovascular training (e.g. walking, running, rollerblading).
Drinking Water.
Keep well hydrated by drinking at least two litres of water every day.
Sleep requirements.
Get enough sleep every night. This will vary from person to person, but is generally six to eight hours per night.
Women and nutritional supplements.
Include effective nutritional supplements in your diet. These include a good women's multivitamin, l-glutamine (an amino acid which helps your body recover from your workouts, as well boosting immunity), and a quality protein shake to help you build lean muscle and reduce body fat.

We recommend the Australian Sports Nutrition range of Pro supplements which are available from reception.

The Industry team can help you choose the right supplements to meet your specific goals and needs.
