Not-so-secret men's fitness!
Do you dream of a owning a six-pack like Brad Pitt's in Troy, or would you prefer more of a 'hard core' physique like Arnie in The Terminator and Stallone in Rambo ?
The good news is that building a strong, muscular and lean physique is possible at any age - as long as you have the dedication, commitment and discipline - in and out of the gym. |

Of course genetics will play a role in the level of muscularity you are able to achieve, but there is no reason why you cannot sculpt a physique that will be the envy of your mates and attract many admiring glances and attention from women.
To sculpt the physique of your dreams and at the same time improve your health and fitness requires the implementation of a regular resistance training program, as well as: |
Following a balanced, calorie-controlled nutrition program which includes high quality protein, carbohydrates and healthy fats. |
Regularly participating in cardiovascular training (e.g. walking, running, rollerblading). |
Keeping well hydrated by drinking at least two litres of water every day - more during summer and during periods of intense activity. |
Getting enough sleep every night. This will vary from person to person, but is generally six to eight hours per night. |
Including effective nutritional supplements in your diet. These include a good men's multivitamin, l-glutamine (an amino acid which helps to boost immunity and reduce muscle breakdown), and a quality protein shake to help build lean muscle and reduce body fat. You may also wish to include a natural testosterone-boosting supplement containing tribulus. |
We recommend the Australian Sports Nutrition range of Pro supplements which are available from reception.
